How to Lose Weight Fast: Appetite Suppressants
You probably realize that most "fast weight loss" directly becomes "fast weight re-gain", but there are a few things that actually do jumpstart the weight loss process, helping weight to come off pretty quickly. While I'm not a huge fan of weight loss drugs or synthetic appetite suppressants, I have found some appetite suppressants that work, especially foods that suppress hunger and naturally help the brain to feel satiated, giving solutions to the "how to lose weight" juggernaut of a question.
Cleaning The Slate
Before any appetite suppressants or fillers will have any great effect, toxins such as trans fats (hydrogenated and hydrolized oils), excitotoxins (MSG, Aspartame, Cottonseed oil), and manufactured and refined corn, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), carbohydrates and sugar MUST be eliminated form the diet. All of these bad boys are directly correlated to triggers in the areas of the brain that are associated with addiction and addictive behavior. Without eliminating these chemical triggers, no amount of appetite suppression or stomach fillers will make a difference in the long run. In fact, one really great solution for sugar cravings in particular, is high doses of live probiotics to not only satiate the brain, but also re-program sugar cravings to stop once and for all.
Feeling More Full
Often times, when we feel hungry, it's not hunger at all ...it's dehydration. The brain is getting distinct signals of decreased mineral loads, lack of nutrients, and sluggish function because water is scarce in the body. Adding a small chunk of highly mineralized sea salt, Himalayan salt, or French Grey salt (my favorite) under the tongue, then drinking about 8 oz. of water, significantly helps satiate the brain and hydrate the body, making the hunger pains much less annoying.
After the body and brain are hydrated, then foods like almonds, avocados, coconut butter, ginger, eggs, coffee, dark chocolate (low sugar and raw, preferably), cayenne pepper, corn-free vegetable soup, green tea, heavy leafy green vegetables or a great fresh fruit/vegetable juice blend are amazing to shut down the hunger pains by providing super nutrients, bulky fiber and a synergistic blend of natural sugars and minerals to make you feel full.
Natural Appetite Suppressants
Sometimes when nothing seems to fill up the hunger beast, there are a few great options to try like high "good fat" foods (Omega 9, Omega 3's - olive oil, coconut oil, buffalo, wild salmon and sardines, etc.), green tea extract, grapefruit, spicy foods, low calorie/high fiber foods, low glycemic index foods, and my personal favorite, a keto-friendly diet with amazing support like that from ForeverGreen products (http://forevergreen.org/weight-management/ketopia/)
A keto-friendly diet is "a diet that consists primarily of fat, with moderate protein and low carbohydrate intake. For best results, aim for a ratio of 70% fat, 25% protein, and 5% carbohydrates."
